As a Civis Platform client, you may be eligible to receive certain data from Civis.
Basefile
- If you are interested in licensing Civis Basefile(s), please contact your Civis Account Manager.
- If you are already contracted to receive Civis Basefile(s) and need instructions on pulling the Basefile to your cluster, please see the Basefile “Pull” Delivery Instructions.
This article details what additional data may be available to you, and what you need to do to request such data.
Additional Available Data
As a Civis Basefile subscriber, you may be eligible to receive the following data. Some of this data may incur an additional cost:
- Absentee and Early Vote Tables: Vote history recorded as votes are cast.
- Census Geo IDs: Numeric codes that identify Census Bureau tabulates data for geographic areas.
- Historical Basefile: Basic or Modeling file no longer available in pull tool due to date older than 1 year.
- Political Districts: List of district boundaries.
- Snapshots: Voter file that represents the data as close as possible to the actual general election date.
- Vote History Xref: Vote history from the previous elections.
If you have questions about cost associated with any data set or do not see the type of request that you’re looking for, such as Civis Model Scores or custom scores, please reach out to your Civis Account Manager.
Submitting Your Data Request
If you currently subscribe to Civis Basefile(s), please proceed below to learn how to submit your additional data request. If you are not currently a Civis Basefile(s) subscriber or you are unsure, please reach out to your Civis Account Manager, who will talk with you about your data needs.
Once you are ready to submit your data request, please complete and submit this form. The form asks you for information about your data request, such as:
- The type of data you are requesting
- The name of the cluster the data will be synced to
- If your organization already has a robot user to perform the sync
Upon submission, your request will be reviewed by Civis.
