Adding a S/FTP Credential

To create a S/FTP credential for use with Platform, you must have valid credentials to access the S/FTP server. You may need to work with your IT team or the S/FTP server administrator to obtain credentials. 

Once you have valid credentials to the server:

1. Go to https://platform.civisanalytics.com/spa/#/credentials or “Admin” > “Credentials” from the top navigation bar.
2. Click “Create Credential”.
3. Use the following information to fill in the fields:
   • Name: Give your credential a suitable name
   • Type: Custom
   • Username: the ftp username provided by your IT team.
   • Password: the ftp password provided by your IT team.
   • Description: (Optional) Provide a description of this credential such as what imports / exports it will be used for.
   • Remote Host: Leave this field blank.
