Access for different organizations

As a data system used by both the US Government and the global malaria community, M-DIVE has different access options according to the affiliation of each user.

• USAID employees and contractors with an @usaid.gov email address are required to access M-DIVE through USAID-managed systems.
• CDC and other US Government employees may use security and account resources managed by their respective agencies.
• Global health implementing partners and National Malaria Program staff may wish to access the system without depending on other US Government services.

Because of this, your exact experience in accessing M-DIVE may differ. This article introduces the basic ideas for how to get started.

First time logging in

As a new M-DIVE user, you should have received a welcome email with instructions for setting up access from support@civisanalytics.com. If you have not yet received a welcome email from M-DIVE, please email support@civisanalytics.com and we will assist you in your account creation. 

After receiving your welcome email, you may proceed to M-DIVE by navigating to https://platform.civisanalytics.com/ and entering your account email address.

• For USAID staff, you will be automatically redirected to the USAID Single Sign On (SSO) portal to log in with your USAID credentials.
• For non-USAID staff who have opted to use Login.gov for Single Sign on, you will be automatically redirected to the SSO portal for first time set-up.
• For non-USAID staff who do not wish to use Login.gov, you will need to download and set up Google Authenticator on your smartphone. For directions, please see the article 'How to Set Up M-DIVE Account'

After the first time logging in

To access M-DIVE after the initial setup, navigate to https://platform.civisanalytics.com and use your username or M-DIVE account email address. You will either be logged in automatically, or redirected to the appropriate login portal for your account.

It is best to use Google Chrome while accessing M-DIVE, and recommended to use wired internet if wireless wifi is slow. A slow internet connection may impede the load times of M-DIVE visualizations.
