Creating an Import from Google Analytics

To create an Import from Google Analytics

1. On the top navigation menu, click Data, and then under Imports, select "Google Analytics."
2. If you haven't added your Google Analytics credential to Civis, follow the instructions here. 
3. Fill out the appropriate fields.

   • For Universal Analytics only, another component of some analyses are segments.  Learn more about these here.
4. To run the import, click "Run Now" in the upper right hand corner of the page.

Note:   Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is set to replace Google’s Universal Analytics (UA), which Civis lists as the UA (or v3) option in Civis Platform’s Google Analytics script template.  You can find the documentation for UA/v3 here. Universal Analytics (UA) properties will no longer process data from July 1, 2023. After July 1, 2023, you will be able to access your Universal Analytics reports for a limited time. New data, however, will only be pushed into Google Analytics 4 (GA4) properties. During this limited time period, you can continue to use the UA option on the template script to export your historical reports into Civis.
